Fort Redoubt

ERMC Architects near Freshwater were instructed to design the conversion of existing Grade II Listed Building formerly used as Army Officer's Accommodation into Holiday Accommodation.

The project required the re-construction of the building to it's former state. The existing shell was re-built using recycled Island Stone and reclaimed bricks with a natural slate roof, the required design incorporating bedroom, kitchen, and living areas matching the original floor plan layout. External consultations with English Heritage and Natural England were carried out to ensure the authenticity of the design and use of correct materials.
